Swedish Massage with Jennifer Stanley 

Swedish massage is the most well known and widely practiced therapeutic massage. It has a whole host of benefits including relieving muscle tension & stress, helping eliminate toxins, increase blood flow, remove blockages and support the body’s immune system which aids the body in repairing itself. It can be adapted to the needs of the individual and be firm or relaxing, soothing or stimulating. 

Jennifer has always been fascinated with exploring the way the human body functions, the anatomy,  physiology and how it can be supported to heal itself. She completed bachelor of science degrees in both biology and diagnostic radiography in the UK and worked for many years as a Senior MRI Radiographer at the Kings College Hospitals in London. This gave her the opportunity to see inside the body directly which few people experience.

Finding something missing from the medicalised model of health she followed the words of Hippocrates; “Anyone wishing to study medicine must master the art of massage.” She qualified in Swedish Full Body Massage in 2008 and loves to help people feel and heal better. 

     120 -fr. for  60 minute treatment 
     300 -fr. for 3 x 60 minute treatments

Alexander Technique Individual Sessions​ with Julie 

The Alexander Technique is a a method of becoming conscious or more aware of your body and your thinking and how to move in an anatomically-sound and easeful way.  The Alexander technique can be useful if you suffer from backache, stiff neck or shoulders, if you become uncomfortable when sitting at your desk or in front of your computer for many hours, or you are a singer, actor, musician, actor or athlete and feel you are not performing at your highest potential.  
A private lesson will include common daily movements such as sitting and standing from a chair and walking.  The teacher will guide you through movements with hands-on and verbal instruction. You can bring in a set of movements you want to explore (plies, a lunge, an asana) or bring an instrument, your computer, a golf club, or whatever daily activity you would like to practice doing with more ease. 

Student should wear clothing that one can easily move in.
