Hatha Yoga
Rooted in respect for the ancient tradition of Yoga and inspired by real life, Hatha is a conscious movement technology that supports us to live awake, balanced and connected. Our practice unites classic and modern postures, breath and energy work, sound and stillness. Expect relevant themes and refined alignment in a nourishing environment where students of all levels are guided to adapt the practice to honor individual needs and to integrate the techniques and tools into daily life. Restore Balance Harmony is our natural state, but few of us experience it in real life. Consider this class as an extended opportunity to deeply nourish your body, mind, and spirit. We blend movement and self-care practices including Restorative and Therapeutic Yoga, Accupressure and Abhyanga (Ayurvedic self-massage) and play with sound, scents, and hands-on assists to address the seasonal and situational causes of imbalance and replenishes your reserves. Rise & Shine Begin your day beautifully with an intuitive approach to movement and meditation. An extension of my personal practice, each unique session may include yoga asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra, poetry, Ayurvedic self-care, card reading, guided inquiry, or ritual. Filmed live from my home, sometimes with guest appearances from kids and Santo the dog, this is real people doing a practice for real life. Stand Up Paddle Yoga Surrounded by water and sky, your yoga practice is instantly elevated to a whole new level that will leave you feeling invigorated and refreshed. Classes for beginners and experienced, individuals and groups; SUP Yoga is also a great option for personal and corporate events. Season runs from May-September in partnership with Lugano Stand Up Paddle. |
